It is a matter of great pride, pleasure and privilege for me to convey that the publication of CECASE News Bulletin (Online - Quarterly) is being formally inaugurated and released on April 23rd 2013 by Prof. Rajaram Nityananda , Chairman Board of Governors, National Institute of Technology , Tiruchirappalli with Dr. Srinivasan Sundarrajan , Director , National Institute of Technology , Tiruchirappalli on the dais as the president of this function .
It may please be noted that this function is arranged synchronizing the National Conference on Corrosion , Surface Engineering and Tribology (CST 2013) being organized and conducted by CECASE in collaboration with National Corrosion Council of India and CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) , Karaikudi.
Incidentally these functions constitute the part of the celebrations of International Corrosion Awareness Day (April 24th of every year) as declared by World Corrosion Organization.
The CECASE has been steadily growing in all dimensions in short span of its one year existence since its formal inception at the Institute. It has become very popular in Southern part of India in R&D and Industrial Scenario and very active at the Institute.
CECASE News Bulletin being published online will be a quarterly periodical issue. This has got Eighteen divisions/sections with highlights on Knowledge Dissemination Series, Brainstorming Sessions, Our Cherishable Scientific Heritage, MoUs signed, Patents on recent innovations, Forthcoming events, Latest publication of books / monographs in the area of Corrosion and Surface Engineering, Case Study Reports, Feedback, CECASE Photo Gallery, besides general information on activities of CECASE and composition of its Advisory Committees.
An important cum earnest request: The main intention of this CECASE News Bulletin is Knowledge Dissemination to the Society spread all over the world. The CECASE keeps every reader in very high esteem and hence earnestly looks for valuable opinions, constructive suggestions and ways and means towards better improvement of this Bulletin both in content and quality.
The feedback form is exclusively provided for this purpose. The further growth of this Bulletin precisely depends on the appropriate feedback given by the readers for any addition or deletion as the case may be. No doubt, the overall pulse of the readers is going to be an important deciding factor for the editors of this Bulletin in its journey towards global recognition without detrimental to the vision and mission of The CECASE for which it professionally stands for.
